Peru 6: On the road again.

Peru Day 3: Sacred Valley Tour The day before, we must have spent a good, solid three hours with a travel agent, planning out excursions and adventures. I had heard many good things about the Sacred Valley, and since Machu Picchu was closed, I figured these ruins could be just as fun. We planned many other things, but the Sacred Valley would be the first.

Upon waking up and getting ready, we realized the hostel, AMARU 1, offered a complimentary breakfast. We took full advantage of the offering of tasty bread, drinks, eggs, fruit and other breakfasty items. The picture below was the view from their cafeteria, which was more like a cozy dining room of some lovely family's home.

We soon embarked on our trip, quickly realizing our tour consisted of a lot of sightseeing from the tour bus. Our first stop would be Pisac, but it would take quite a drive (a little more than an hour) to reach it. I sat in my cozy seat enjoying the gorgeous, gorgeous cloud formations covering the rich, green landscapes.
